First Frost Ornaments

I have one more project to show you all using the First Frost Bundle and the Labeler Alphabet stamp set. I am so excited to tell you all about this project! Last year before Christmas, I was searching on Pinterest and came across some cute ornaments that I knew I could recreate with the help of my boyfriend, Joe, who is a woodworker. He helped me make them, and I stamped words on them using my Labeler Alphabet set. When I was decorating my tree this year, I found them and fell in love with them all over again. A few days before I decorated my tree, Joe was asking me what I think he should make as gifts for people for Christmas, and when I remembered I had these ornaments, I said we should make some more sets of them. So, we made a bunch of sets of our ornaments to give to family and friends for the holidays. After we made them, I was thinking about how we would package them to give as gifts. I saw some cute Christmas boxes and tins at Hobby Lobby, but Joe reminded me that the point

First Frost

Hi everyone! Long time, no see. I had such a busy semester that I have not been keeping up with my blog like I've wanted to. That doesn't mean I haven't been busy stamping! Now that I'm done with school for about a month, my goal is to catch up on sharing everything I've been up to! Christmas is just around the corner, and I wanted to take some time to share a few of my favorite projects with you all. The First Frost Clear-Mount Bundle from the Frosted Floral Suite was something that caught my eye immediately when I first looked through the Holiday Catalog. And sure enough... almost all of my projects that I have done for Christmas have used this bundle! I will share a few of them here. Here are four cards I created with this bundle. What I love about the products in this suite is that you have the freedom to create more than just Christmas cards. The first picture was the card I sent out to friends and family for the Holidays, but it could really be used for

Fall Favorites

Hi everyone! As most of you know, the 2018 Holiday Catalog will be launching in just a few days. I'm so excited to share with you my two favorite Autumn sets from the new catalog. Country Lane Suite and Falling for Leaves Bundle When first looking through the new catalog these were two sets that immediately caught my eye. I will admit, I was so in love with Falling for Leaves, but I really struggled coming up with designs that did the bundle justice! Good thing there's no harm in CASEing the catalog and other people's Pinterests! I am in awe of the big leaf stamp and die. The patterns in the stamps and dies are totally my style. The Country Lane Suite is absolutely gorgeous. I love the farmhouse look of the stamps and the DSP. The sentiments in the set are versatile, so you can use them for practically any occasion. The chicken wire elements are also a fun touch to add more texture to the projects! Along with Country Lane, I als

Life is Pretty Amazing

While shopping at Joann Fabrics a couple weeks ago I came across this adorable floating frame, and of course I had to get it. I love creating décor projects, but I just never actually do them. I thought buying the frame would be a good way to push myself. So last weekend I sat down and created this gorgeous framed art! I love that there are only two colors in this piece: blushing bride and berry burst. Well and a crumb cake background! I combined elements of lots of different sets and suites, and I was going for texture which I think I succeeded at. I started by using embossing paste on the crumb cake paper. The embossed flowers on the berry burst paper, folded doily, and sparkly paper near the sentiment, vellum, and silver thread also added great texture to the piece. I hung this beauty right in my little stamping corner above my ink pads. I'm so happy with how it turned out, and the sentiment is a great reminder to find the beauty in every day. Life truly is

Love What You Do Pizza Boxes

I am so excited for my Stamp Camp on Friday night because I finally get to share these adorable mini pizza boxes with my customers! I truly think they will love them as much as I do. I don't even think these boxes would be any better if there actually WERE pizza in them. And that's saying a lot because... well I love pizza. I have wanted to do a mini pizza box project for a while now, and I finally put some in my last order so I could get crafting with them. I am obsessed! What's funny is that I used my favorite color combination that I posted in my last blog again. The colors are Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, and Tranquil Tide. They go so well together! I used items from the Share What You Love Suite to put together a cohesive project. The Love What You Do stamp set offers multiple sentiments and images that are perfect for creating a pack of notecards that appear cohesive. The only stamp that is outside of the suite is the "Just for you" stamp on the front of

Current Favorites

It's been almost a month since I've made a blog post, so let me tell you about my new favorite color combo. I have been using variations of this combination of colors in all of my projects for the last like week, and I didn't even notice it until now! I also am still very obsessed with the Nature's Poem Suite as you can probably tell. The images and sentiments in the stamp set are versatile enough that I find I am using them on many of the cards I have made lately. I also went camping with my boyfriend the weekend after the 4th of July, so that inspired me as well. Nature is always my go-to source for inspiration! The colors are: Crumb Cake Mint Macaron Petal Pink Grapefruit Grove Here are all of the projects that I've made using these colors. Grapefruit Grove and Crumb Cake Petal pink, mint macaron, and some Nature's Poem DSP I hope you've enjoyed checking out a few of my projects using some of my current favorite colors and go-

Monochrome is the New Black

Monochrome noun mono·chrome \ ˈmä-nə-ˌkrōm \ a painting, drawing, or photograph in a single hue Cards using only one hue or color (AKA monochrome cards) are so in right now! This week I set out with the goal to design a monochrome card, and I had so much fun pushing myself creatively. I have been setting goals for myself when it comes to projects, and sometimes it takes me a few days to figure out my vision. However, that's how you become better right?? This card was not easy for me to create, and I created many versions of it before I settled on this layout. In the end, my hard work has paid off, and I'm thrilled with how it turned out! I've been keeping it on my desk for inspiration all week!  Here's the card To create this card I used the new color Coastal Cabana. Really... that

Little Critters

Today I'm sharing a couple of cards that were inspired by my godson, Ethan's first birthday on Thursday! When I got the Animal Expedition stamp set, my very first thought was to make him a birthday card using these adorable animals! How perfect for a little guy's birthday?! These cards were SO much fun to make! I loved using my watercolor and blender pens to create unique looks for all of the critters and for the sentiment on the Wild About You card. I love the watercolored look, but I don't use it as much as I should! I combined elements of the Animal Expedition stamp set as well as the paper, stamps, and thinlits from the Nature's Poem Suite for both cards. They pair perfectly. The colors featured for these projects are Soft Sea Foam, Mint Macaron, and Tranquil Tide. I made this card first. I wanted to feature as many of the animals from the set as possible. The only one I left out was the rhino. Poor guy! He will have to have a special card made just

Enjoy Life

Today I'm going to tell you about the new set Enjoy Life. I first heard about this set at OnStage Milwaukee, and I fell in love with the set and the story behind it immediately. The person who designed this set is from my home state, Wisconsin. At OnStage, she shared the story behind this set and how it came to be. It resonated with me, and I realized that stamping has always been more than just paper and glue. It creates connections between people. It is therapy. It commemorates good times and bad. This set was designed by Connie Fitzgerald and represents both of her incredible children. Through her speech, I could feel her passion towards creativity and her love for not just stamping but for people and for life. She is truly inspirational, and I hope I give Enjoy Life the justice it deserves. Here is what I created using Enjoy Life. I used Crumb Cake cardstock as the base and added a layer of the new color Mossy Meadow. Then I stamped the images from the set onto
