Crazy for All Inclusive Kits!

Last Friday, I had my first All Inclusive Kit class, and I just love these things so much I need to write about them here, too. As always, Stampin' Up! makes it so easy for EVERYONE to create gorgeous cards- whether they're a beginner or an avid crafter. The three all inclusive kits from the Annual Catalog caught my eye recently because I've been searching for ways that my loyal customers who come to my camps can stamp at home without spending too much on supplies. These card kits are perfect for that! Each kit is $35 (not including shipping) and makes 20 cards. You guys, that's only $1.75 per card! What's great about these kits is that they come with EVERYTHING you need to make the cards, and you even get to keep the stamp set, acrylic block, and ink for future projects. I love these so much, I bought all three for myself! I had so much fun crafting with friends and just working on these in my spare time. You can scroll through the pictures of each kit here. ...

Happy Birthday, You Sweet Thing

It's been busy around here! I've been wanting to start making videos for you all for a while now, and I JUST got all of the things I need for it! I have the best boyfriend ever who, when I told him I needed a new table for my stamping room, made me a custom one. Check it out! I'm so obsessed! Isn't it gorgeous?!? So I had to get to work right away to make my very first video with my new supplies! I chose the Piece of Cake Bundle from the Occasions Catalog to design this adorable card. Instead of thinlits, this bundle comes with a punch for the two-tiered cakes and the cake stand in the stamp set. Both of the images are cut out in one punch, and it's always tricky and frustrating for me trying to punch out all of the images in a punch and trying to get them to align properly. SO! I was sitting in my craft room the other night, and I thought up an easy way to fix that problem using the help of my Stamparatus (This thing is so handy- I should have got...

Happy Birthday, Mom!

February 9th is the birthday of my favorite person in the world- my mom. Ever since I was a child, I remember her being absolutely in love with cacti, so when I saw the Flowering Desert set in the Occasions Catalog, I knew that's what I would use for her birthday card! When I was a kid, the woman had cactus lamps, okay??? This was a must! This set is so fun because there are so many different things you can do with it- it's so versatile. I had a blast making my own cactus and choosing the color scheme for this card! There really are so many options. I love the Lovely Lipstick, Coastal Cabana, and Granny Apple Green color scheme I've got going on here. I knew I wanted to use the Coastal Cabana/Granny Apple Green ribbon on this card, and Lovely Lipstick goes perfectly with it for a bright, fun birthday color palette! Isn't this ribbon so fun? Since I knew I was making her a card with this set, of course I had to get her a couple new cactus plants for her birthday, too...
